Following the success of 'Art in the Gardens' in Sheffield, Bert's work is becoming increasingly popular. Spotted by Pauline Harrison of SUFAS, Bert's work was shown to the public. Many people visited the summer exhibition June Ghosts in the Turner Glass Museum, which ran from 8th to 25th June 2010. His works were received with pleasure and enthusiasm; several originals were bought that night. A percentage of the profits made from the sale of Bert's Art was donated by cheque to The Alzheimer's Society.

Bert's profile has been raised in the media, and many people have recognised his work in the two double-page spreads in the article 'Into the Light' in Reflections, May 2010 edition.
You may have heard the interview with Rony Robinson on BBC Radio Sheffield, which was in June.

Bert's painting 'Uplit Tree' will be a guest at the Bakewell Art Festival, 6th to 14th July 2010. There will be talks by Amaryllis during the festival, about Bert's work.

A themed selection of paintings will be available for you to see at the 'Art in the Gardens' event in Sheffield, on September 4th and 5th, Saturday and Sunday. This is held in Sheffield's beautiful Botanical Gardens.
